TRASH CHIC PHILOSOPHY

"Love what you wear, but show that you care." (Trash Chic 2008)

Trash Chic was created in November 2008 to share our passion for clothing, thrift and recycling. We rescue items that others have abandoned, then set about their rehabilitation before releasing, healthy and fit, back into the world of fashion. You could say we make do and mend - with attitude. Oh, and we never waste a thing ... If we can't restore something in its original form, we take the buttons, beads, fabrics, etc., and make them into something else.

Most important, though, we firmly believe that getting dressed every day should be FUN. Trash Chic women have their own individual styles created from cast-offs but worn with panache!

In 2010 we'll be on the road again at as many local fairs and festivals as we can manage.
